The Hold, a Suffolk County Council service, is located on Ipswich’s Waterfront and is home to the Suffolk Archives and the John Blatchly Local Studies Library, as well as our exhibition gallery, shop, café and teaching spaces shared by the University of Suffolk.

Tuesday to Saturday: 10am-4.30pm

Exhibition

Monday to Saturday: 10am-4.30pm

2nd Thursday of the month: 10am-9.30pm*
