Archives Card

If you'd like to view original documents in the searchroom, you will need an Archives Card.  We will continue to accept Suffolk Archives reader tickets for the rest of 2026 so there is no immediate rush to set up an Archives Card. 

You can register for an Archives Card in advance of your visit on the Archives Card Hub. Please bring two forms of ID when you visit so we can issue you the card (see Card Guidelines for a list of accepted ID). 

If you need more help with registration, we will be offering limited slots for you to sit with a member of staff or volunteer who can assist you with registering for your new card using one of our computers.  Please contact us to check availability and arrange a suitable time.
