Social Media Moderation
We want to use our social media to share our amazing collections with as wide an audience as possible, as well as posting information about our events and services.
Availability
Our social media accounts are monitored within standard office hours; Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm.
Reusing and sharing images
Images we post may be used for private study or education (non-commercial use). To use images for any other purpose you must gain permission by contacting Suffolk Archives by email: archives@suffolk.gov.uk
Joining in
We want our social media pages to be welcoming spaces for learning about and enjoying our shared heritage, and we welcome contributions and discussions that are kind and courteous. Posts or comments which are offensive or inaccurate may be removed.
Stay on topic
We welcome contributions to our page, and ask that comments are relevant to the original post. Off-topic comments may be removed.
No hate speech or bullying
Bullying, harassment or degrading comments of any kind will not be tolerated on our pages. Posts or comments of this nature will be removed.
Political postings
Posts or comments of a political nature are not permitted on our pages.Individuals who breach these guidelines may be blocked from our channels
